Long-horned cowfish

Can 2 juvinile long horn cow fish be kept with 3 common clowns and one electric blue damsel. I have a 100 litre tank. I will be moving the cow fish after 2 or 3 months to a larger tank. But for now can i keep them together???

No. 100 liters is too small and with a very notorious aggressive damsel that has a tendency to mark a very large territory, your cowfish are liable to release toxins if stressed killing all your fish including the cowfish themselves.

yeah thats only 26 gallons....your gonna need anything around 55 gallons maybe a little smaller, but thats pushing it

Has anyone out there had a longhorn cowfish die? I want to get a preserved specimen of L. cornuta, just to study its surface anatomy. A dried one would probably be ok. Pickled in alcohol might be better. A smaller-size one would be preferable. I will pay shipping and send you crashing waves of good karma.

(That's right; I don't want to take a live fish from the sea and just kill it!)
