Exclamation Please! Fahaka Puffer needs help

Hi. I asked this on the Freshwater section but got no responses. My 6 year old Fahaka puffer has a damaged beak.

She broke her beak last year. The two teeth that make the beak are no longer fused. One tooth is shorter than the other. She keeps getting good stuck in the gap between the two teeth. Tonight she got a silk plant caught. I had to catch her to try to help her but couldn't remove it. Eventually between us we broke the leaf from the plant. I've had to leave her with the leaf attached because she needs to calm down. She got very stressed.

Please, what do I do? I've never clipped or rasped her beak before. I've never had to. Her food has always kept her beak down. And I don't know if clipping will even help as the gap between the teeth is the problem.

I think it's a good idea to trim the beak so the teeth can be even. there are YouTube tutorials on it
