porcupine puffer just stop eating out of no where
I have had my puffer a year, great appetite, about 3-4 inches. All he would eat is jumbo krill. I would offer him different food and he would just spit it out. A week ago we had our tank cleaned, water changed, this was on Thursday. On Monday morning I gave him his krill, he grabbed the first one very normal, then the second one he acted like he could not open his mouth. He swam up to the krill all excited couldn't open his mouth then swam away. I tried feeding him on and off through the day and same thing happened. He wanted to eat, but he couldn't. So then I read something about lockjaw. So I started force feeding him mysis shrimp with vitamins. This works a little. I need to get him to eat. I read lockjaw was a vitamin deficiency. I see his mouth moving, he is swimming around, coming up to the tank like normal like he's hungry. I have offered him everything, and he is not interested. Has this ever happened to anyone before? I don't want him to die a slow hungry death. Any help would be awesome.
