"What is different is the fact that the area around the wounds hasn't turned grey or black yet, that would be proof of a lion fish sting. "
-Area around wound became a little bit grey.

P.S-maybe you know some conditioner or smt for reducing ammonia? Because I have already changed 25% of water around 4 weeks ago.
-
Thanks)))

Prime will help reduce the ammonia, but you should be doing water changes daily while the fish has an infection.

also look at kent marine Zoe. It is a vitamin supplement. You soak the food in it during the thaw portion to give them extra nutrients.

I have been in touch with Kelly, and you WILL need a good de-worming medicine along with other things. Get that guy the help it need ASAP.

Do you have a QT tank set up?

You can try Melafix and Pimafix but they are not hard medicines. Those 2 can go directly into the display tank.

You have to keep doing the daily water changes if you don't have a quarantine tank. One authority stated that there is no treatment for a lionfish sting. I am waiting to hear back from Kelly and see what her opinion is.

I got a reply from Kelly.

Start treatment for parasites. Both internal and external.

Puffer stung by lionfish

You MUST reply to her...

She is the doctor here. As mentioned get the water quality up, and start supplementing the diet.
If you want that little guy to live you must Ask Kelly the questions.

You don't have to tell her the entire story... I have already said that. Read the thread and reply with new information. And do it as soon as you read this. After replying, start looking at parasite medications and or ask her what ones she would recommend.
