New Here! GSPs acting strange..

Hey, I decided to register on the site because I spend most of my free time reading up on puffers and saltwater tanks and I often have questions about my 55G . All help offered is greatly appreciated.

I've had 55G setup for 3 months now and my 4 GSPs were doing great to start out. For about a week now, they have been becoming more picky about their food. I'm at my LFS every other day getting them pest snails and they love those. The only other thing they'll eat regularly is bloodworms.

My little guys are only about 1.5" so finding stuff they can fit in their mouth other than snails is kinda hard. Any suggestions or favorite sites to get the snails from? Would love to start a snail farm but we don't have much space as we already have the 55G, quarantine tank, 10G FW, and betta tank.

My other issue is that they are hiding much more often with the grey belly. They still come up and greet me and beg for food but it's obvious they are stressed out or something. My water parameters are ok at 0 AMM, 0 Nitrates, 8.0 PH, and nitrites at 20 PPM.

The only changes I've been making are adding salt with every water change weekly. I do about a 20% change with distilled water and raise the salinity .002. I put some fake plants from my 10G FW with them (after washing them off with tap water).

They don't look sickly or anything and when they DO eat, they pig out. Clear eyes, no sign of ick either. Seems like normal behavior maybe but I wanna make sure I'm doing right by them.
