Yes, I will be happy to send you an update. I genuinely appreciate your interest and concern. This has been a disheartening experience with these being my first tanks. The 20g was a Christmas present just a couple months ago and I loved it so much that I bought the 10g. No beginner's luck here, ugh. Thank you again for taking the time to give me advice.

Thank you for taking the time out to give me advice. It's very much appreciated. I was thinking I should just monitor the fish for now and see how they do before taking drastic steps, so thank you for helping me be okay with that decision for now.

Hi, you helped me identify Graphite Disease in my Betta yesterday, and I read your helpful and informative post on Mycobacteria. I'm new to the hobby and I'm really disheartened because it sounds like I need to start all over with my tanks. I have two cycled, heavily planted tanks (10g and 20g) and I have spent a lot of time and money on them. I fear now that both of them have the bacteria through equipment sharing. So do I need to throw away all of my plants and substrate, and bleach everything else? Throw everything away? And what do I do with my fish? 2 bettas, 20 ghost shrimp, 5 nerite snails, 4 kuhli loaches. They all seem healthy for now but should I isolate them and treat them with antibiotics and hope the bacteria is eradicated? Euthanize everything? I'm asking you because you seem to know your stuff and I need some guidance, thank you so much.

I figured as much, but it's nice to hear it. I'll keep thinking. I've got time lol. Thank you.

I'd still like to look at Cambodians as to breeding, but I had another thought I wanted to air out with someone who knows what they're talking about lol. What about VT koi? I don't see those, really. What do you think? I know it's hard to find healthy, good-confirmation VTs but I love their look and I'd like to work with them... So what do you think? Thanks for your kind patience, by the way.

I'll be sure to PM you if I have any issues, thanks. I'm beginning to flirt with the idea of working on long finned male Cambodians- I don't see many of those at all. But I have at least two months of planning to do- so I'll have plenty of time to change my mind and study genetics and such lol.

Thank you so much for your comment on my "make a goal" thread. You've given me some good stuff to think about.

I was getting annoyed with myself when I was trying to save my late double tail halfmoon taffy who had inflamed gills caused by a bacterial infection. I guess he was hopeless from the start.
