I'm sorry to hear that. I live in the US so I really have no idea. You can probably look on Facebook if you've got one, sometimes there are local FB groups that you can ask if there are breeders around.

I always aim to do my research before buying a new species of fish. The otger option was for him to move in with the dwarf puffers and then into the large community tank (350litres) I think that this would be too busy for him though. He is very shy and all you see is a trunk or tail!

Okay, just wanted to make sure you knew Elephants get up to roughly 9 inches! Always worried about that since not everyone researches before they buy a fish or the store just does't give you the right info. But you seem like you know what you're doing!

Ah yay, another September birthday! Practically my entire family was born in September! And yes, just a little older haha.

Oh boy, what sized tank are they in? That's great though, yeah, most of my fish are spoiled with frozen foods and occasional live foods too lol. But being on a staple pellet food is good as well, especially if you're using worms; they're very fatty and don't contain all the nutrients fish need Crustacean foods like Daphnia, Brine Shrimp, and Mysis shrimp are great foods for helping digestion in carnivore fish ^_^

Ah yeah, we definitely don't recommend that >.< Almost always the males get the brunt of the aggression! But I'm sure you figured that out! Glad you separated them
He's actually just a Multicolor, he doesn't fit in any specific coloration so he goes into the Multicolor category which is kind of where we stick the fish with random patterns ^_^ He's quite beautiful though.
