Thanks for your post on LED light. I looked at the Beamworks 9 LED clip on (only one I saw that clips on) for 29 bucks. I am wondering if this light will be bright enough for my 3.5 gallon tank? I have 5 tanks all together and the 24 and 48 cheap lights do great if they last. The individual lights start to go out. The come with the lightly touch turn on. I have them in strip cords. Thanks for help.

Ilovebettasbk11...your betta should be Ok, bettas can withstand quite warm temperatures. This psdt summer it got very hot out and the heat was well into the high 90s at times. My bettas tank water was up in the high 80s and they suffered no ill effects. If yours is at 83 you don't need to worry. Another thing you could do is move your tank down lower to the floor where it is cooler. Thst would offset it by a few degrees. If you have cats or dogs though make sure they can't get into the tank.

Don't worry, it doesn't involve a cat and a microwave or a stick of dynamite or anything like that. That's what most people think.

It actually comes from my older brother's warped sense of humor. I was six, and we were trying to find me a Neopets username that didn't need numbers. Well, we were searching for a while, because Neopets was really popular at the time! So he decided to go with something that would DEFINITELY not be taken. This is the result.

Years later, for my twelfth birthday, he made me a WordPress-based web site with my own domain name... which was myexplodingcat.com. He also made me an email with the same name. I've used it ever since.

The only problem is that sometimes it ends up in spam folders, and... well, when I started signing up for college-related things, I had to make a separate email for business stuff that sounded a little more respectable. XD I did sign up for a few things under that name, but I always felt kinda weird writing it down. :P

A pleasure to be on your friends list -- or vice-versa. Thanks for the invitation.

If you click on "view conversation" and answer in that reply field, I will be notified of your response. Sounds backwards, but that's how it works.
